WallQ is one live, public wall for the internet. Anyone can read it. Anyone can write on it, without making an account.

What it is

One wall, shared by everyone, in one place. You write something, it appears. Someone else reads it, maybe replies, maybe not.

There are two ways to read it. Active mixes recent posts with ones people are actually engaging with. Latest is strictly newest first. The ranking is the same for everyone — it is not personalised, and it does not learn about you.

What it deliberately is not

Some things are missing on purpose, and are not coming later:

• No accounts, profiles or followers. Nothing to build up, nothing to lose.
• No private messages. This is a wall, not an inbox.
• No streaks, badges or notifications designed to pull you back.
• No advertising and no tracking across other sites.
• No personalised feed. Everyone sees the same wall.

WallQ is not trying to maximise how long you stay. If you read something worth reading, leave something worth leaving, and close the tab, that is the whole idea working.

About display names

You can add a name to a post. It is optional, it is not reserved, it is not verified, and it does not link to anything. Two posts signed “Sam” may be two different people, and the small coloured tile beside a post is generated from that post — not from a person.

Posting without an account is not the same as being anonymous. Privacy & cookies explains exactly what is stored and why.

How it is kept usable

Automatic checks run on everything before it publishes. Anything uncertain waits for a person. Reports are read by a human and never delete anything on their own.
